Damasko DK44
The Damasko DK44 represents the pinnacle of German engineering and precision watchmaking, showcasing a harmonious blend of robust materials and innovative design. Featuring Damasko’s in-house calibre A26-3 with a silicone escape wheel, this timepiece boasts a 42-hour power reserve and displays the hour, minute, central second, along with date and weekday at a dedicated position. The movement is adjusted in six positions for exceptional accuracy and houses bidirectional pawl winding and a dual ceramic ball bearing rotor.
Built for resilience, the DK44 features a completely ice-hardened stainless steel case, case back, and crown, offering superior corrosion resistance and hardness up to 64 HRC. The flat sapphire crystal is treated on both sides for optimal readability, while the triple-sealed, screw-down crown incorporates Damasko’s patented lubrication system for long-term performance. Water resistant to 100m, and resistant to low pressure, this is a tool watch with serious credentials.
The defining feature of the DK44 is its hardened, bidirectional rotating bezel with a 12-hour dual-time scale. Crafted from the same ice-hardened steel as the case, the bezel insert is laser-engraved and filled with a durable, multi-component white paint, ensuring the markings remain clear and chip-free over time. Precision ceramic ball bearings guarantee smooth, secure operation. A luminous bilight at the 12 o’clock position adds low-light functionality.
The matte black aviator-style dial is perfectly complemented by luminous white indices and black sword-shaped hands with Luminova C1 X1. The Damasko DK44 includes a robust leather strap with red and white double stitching or black-red stitching, both fitted with a bead-blasted buckle.
