Damasko DC57 Black
The Damasko DC57 Black fuses military-grade materials with full-lume visibility and the trusted architecture of the Valjoux 7750 movement. This 40mm chronograph is crafted for extreme durability and night-time clarity, combining German engineering with a stealth matte black aesthetic.
Inside, the Valjoux 7750 movement delivers the reliable tri-compax layout with 12-hour, 30-minute, and 60-second counters, plus a day and date function. Now standard with a silicon escape wheel, this upgrade provides enhanced resistance to wear and long-term mechanical stability. An optional silicon hairspring is available.
The case is constructed from DAMASKO’s patented ice-hardened nickel-free stainless steel and treated with the brand’s abrasion-proof black DAMEST® coating. Tempered to 64 HRC / 800 Vickers, this case is four times harder than conventional stainless steel and engineered for resistance to impact, scratches, and corrosion.
The matte dial is fully coated in Luminova C1 white for excellent visibility in low light. Contrasting matte black sword hands and indices, along with a black “Si” imprint at 8 o’clock and a 60-second scale at 9 o’clock, reinforce the tool-watch identity. A day/date display is offset below the 3 o’clock axis, colour-matched to the dial for seamless integration.
The chronograph is protected by a screw-down case back and features triple-sealed Viton gaskets. Water resistance is rated to 10 bar (100 metres). A flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment enhances legibility, while curved lugs ensure comfort on the wrist.
The patented DAMASKO crown and pusher system protects the movement through triple-sealing, disengaged winding stem, and a self-lubricating system that ensures long-term use under stress. This is a watch made for demanding environments.
The anti-magnetic inner cage offers protection up to 80,000 A/m (100 mT), shielding the movement from disruptive magnetic fields that could affect accuracy.
The DC57 Black is delivered on a black leather strap with black-white double stitching and bead-blasted buckle. An optional ice-hardened steel bracelet is also compatible.
