Damasko DC58 (SI Upgrade + SI Dial)
The Damasko DC58 (SI Upgrade + SI Dial) embodies a modern approach to a classic chronograph design. With its matte black dial, blue-accented chronograph hand, and subtle silicon movement cues, this 40mm model offers refined legibility, performance upgrades, and a uniquely bold aesthetic. It’s powered by the proven Valjoux 7750 movement, now enhanced with silicon components for improved resilience.
The DC58 continues the tradition of the DC5X series, utilising the Valjoux 7750 layout with a 12-hour counter, 30-minute counter, and central 60-second chronograph. The SI Upgrade includes a silicon escape wheel (with an optional silicon hairspring), resulting in reduced friction and longer service intervals.
The case is milled from Damasko’s patented ice-hardened, nickel-free stainless steel, which reaches a surface hardness of 64 HRC / 800 Vickers—four times harder than conventional stainless steel. All external components are made from this durable alloy, including the bezel, crown, and pushers.
The matte black dial is complemented by luminous white markers, a triangle at 12 o’clock, and a vibrant blue-painted chronograph seconds hand. A white “Si” imprint at 8 o’clock and an additional 60-second counting circle at 9 o’clock denote the silicon-enhanced movement. The day/date window is offset just below 3 o’clock, with colour-matched detailing to blend into the dial layout.
A flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial, while curved lugs ensure comfort. The watch is sealed with high-performance Viton gaskets and is water-resistant to 10 bar (100 metres). Functional reliability is tested to military standard MIL-STD-810.
The crown and pushers are screw-down and triple-sealed using Damasko’s patented system. The crown disengages the stem when screwed in, preventing pressure transmission to the movement. A built-in lubricant cell provides consistent performance over many years.
Inside, an anti-magnetic cage shields the movement from magnetic fields up to 80,000 A/m (100 mT), delivering accuracy in environments where magnetism can compromise standard mechanical watches.
The DC58 (SI Upgrade + SI Dial) comes fitted with a black leather strap with either blue-white or black-white contrast stitching, and a bead-blasted signed buckle. An optional ice-hardened stainless steel bracelet is also compatible.

While standard mechanical watches are only required to resist magnetic fields up to 4,800 A/m, Damasko timepieces surpass this by a significant margin, offering protection up to 80,000 A/m.
