Damasko DC58
The Damasko DC58 presents a precise and robust chronograph in a classic 40mm format. Drawing on the proven architecture of the Valjoux 7750, the DC58 introduces subtle design refinements and functional upgrades, including a silicon escape wheel and distinctive blue-accented hands for modern performance and style.
Part of the DC5X series, the DC58 features a tri-compax layout with a 12-hour counter, 30-minute counter, and central 60-second chronograph hand. A silicon escape wheel comes standard for improved resilience and long-term accuracy. A silicon hairspring is also available as an optional enhancement.
The case is made from DAMASKO’s patented ice-hardened nickel-free stainless steel, with a surface hardness up to 64 HRC / 800 Vickers—four times harder than typical watch steels. All external components, including the bezel, pushers, and screw-down crown, are crafted from this exceptionally durable material.
The matte black dial features high-contrast white hour markers and a triangle at 12 o’clock, all coated with Luminova C1 Grade X1. The sword-shaped hands are also luminous, while the chronograph seconds hand adds a touch of boldness with its blue finish. The day/date display is colour-matched and offset below the 3 o’clock axis for a clean, functional layout. A subtle “Si” imprint at 8 o’clock and a 60-second tracking ring at 9 o’clock indicate the watch’s technical edge.
A flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment ensures excellent readability in all conditions. Viton gaskets offer superior chemical resistance, while the case is water-resistant to 10 bar (100 metres) and tested to military standards.
The patented DAMASKO crown and pusher system is triple-sealed and fully screw-down, offering safe underwater operation. The disengaging crown stem and internal lubrication cell further protect the movement from impact and wear over time.
An integrated anti-magnetic cage provides protection up to 80,000 A/m (100 mT), ensuring the DC58 continues to run accurately even in challenging environments.
The watch is delivered with a black leather strap featuring blue-white or black-white contrast stitching and a bead-blasted signed buckle. A matching ice-hardened steel bracelet is also compatible and available separately.
