The Damasko DC86 Black – White is a bold and highly technical chronograph that exemplifies Damasko’s commitment to functional excellence and mechanical innovation. Inspired by the historic Lemania 5100, the DC8X series focuses on enhancing chronograph legibility through a patented central 60-minute counter – a rare and intuitive feature that simplifies time tracking during active use. Each full revolution tracks a full hour, visible across the entire dial.
The DC86 Black – White is housed in a bead-blasted ice-hardened stainless steel case, specially treated with Damasko’s black DAMEST coating for unmatched abrasion resistance. The PVD-coated bi-directional bezel includes a ceramic ball bearing system for precision, and a luminous bilight at 12 o’clock ensures optimal functionality in low light. The lasered, multi-component paint-filled bezel markings resist long-term wear.
Powering the watch is Damasko’s in-house C51-6 chronograph calibre with 50 hours of power reserve, regulated in 5 positions for high-accuracy performance. The movement features a central 60-second and 60-minute chronograph hand, a small hour counter, a 24-hour indicator, and a quick-set date function located at 4:30. An anti-magnetic cage shields the movement from magnetic interference up to 80,000 A/m.
A double-domed sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective treatment provides clarity, while the dial is finished in matte black with luminous white indices and hands coated in Superluminova X1 GL C1.
