Crafted in-house using bead-blasted German submarine steel, the DS30’s case offers unmatched corrosion resistance, anti-magnetic properties, and shock resilience. This steel, used in marine-grade applications, imparts a distinctive titanium-grey hue and is highly resistant to cracking. The case construction includes a screw-down crown and case back, both also crafted from German submarine steel and designed using Damasko’s proprietary triple-sealed crown system for water resistance up to 200 metres.
A scratch-resistant flat sapphire crystal with double-sided anti-reflective coating provides excellent visibility in all lighting conditions. Inside, the DS30 is powered by the reliable ETA 2824-2 Swiss automatic movement, carefully regulated and tested by Damasko to ensure precise performance. This movement includes a date function positioned at 3 o’clock, subtly colour-matched to the dial for visual harmony.
All gaskets are made from premium Viton material, ensuring long-term resistance to chemicals and pressure changes. The DS30 – OBO also includes drilled lugs for easy strap changes. Supplied with a blue-stitched waterproof leather rubber strap known as the Robby strap, this model combines strength, style, and comfort in a single robust package.
