The Damasko DK46 blends exceptional durability with refined German engineering, creating a tool watch capable of standing up to serious conditions. At the heart of this robust piece lies the in-house calibre A26-3, featuring a silicon escape wheel, 42-hour power reserve, and bilingual date and weekday display. The matte dial and functional hand shape ensure crisp legibility in all environments, with an added highlight of the yellow-tipped second hand and luminous dial accents.
Housed in a 40 mm case made entirely from Damasko’s patented ice-hardened nickel-free stainless steel, the DK46 delivers unmatched scratch resistance and strength. The bidirectional hardened rotating bezel is laser engraved and filled with long-lasting paint, featuring a 60-minute countdown scale and luminous marker at 12 o’clock. Ceramic ball bearing mechanisms guarantee precision rotation, and the black bezel insert is DAMEST coated for increased surface protection.
Like all DK4X series models, the DK46 integrates a technical feature often unseen—an internal anti-magnetic cage protecting the movement from up to 80,000 A/m. Viton gaskets, a triple-sealed screw-down crown, and a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating complete the performance package. The patented EPS spiral, crafted from polycrystalline silicone, addresses key limitations of traditional steel hairsprings – including material asymmetry, sensitivity to environmental forces, and degradation over time. Silicone’s inherent properties make the EPS spiral non-magnetic, highly elastic, and significantly lighter, reducing centrifugal effects during impact and maintaining stable oscillation even in extreme conditions.
Unlike traditional spirals, which are mounted through thermal or mechanical deformation, the EPS is clipped into patented spring-loaded studs that allow ultra-fine positional adjustments without stressing the material.
