Its robust 40 mm case is crafted entirely from Damasko’s patented ice-hardened stainless steel, delivering a surface hardness of 64 HRC (800 Vickers) for remarkable scratch and corrosion resistance. Each component, including the screw-down crown and case back, is engineered for durability and enhanced with the brand’s proprietary triple-sealed DAMASKO system for water resistance to 100 metres. The patented EPS spiral, crafted from polycrystalline silicone, addresses key limitations of traditional steel hairsprings – including material asymmetry, sensitivity to environmental forces, and degradation over time.
