Damasko DK22 – Blue
The Damasko DK22 – Blue represents the next generation of precision and everyday utility in German watchmaking. This model is part of the DK2X range, featuring a slim 39 mm case and a clean, legible dial inspired by classic pilot and instrument watches. The bead-blasted German submarine steel case sets it apart, offering exceptional resistance to corrosion, pressure, and wear. The matte black dial is adorned with vintage-white indexes coated in Super-Luminova Old Radium GL X1 and classic sword-shaped hands for superior readability in low light.
A sapphire crystal case back reveals the beautifully finished Damasko A26-2 in-house movement, boasting a bidirectional pawl winding system, skeletonised rotor with ceramic bearings, and a power reserve of 42 hours. The movement is regulated in six positions for top performance, shockproof according to DIN 8308, and anti-magnetic per DIN 8309. Notably, Damasko replaces brass winding components typically found in ETA movements with hardened steel for increased durability.
The DK22 also includes a date window at 3 o’clock, subtly integrated into the dial’s crosshair design. It is water-resistant to 200 metres, fitted with a flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, and secured by a triple-sealed screw-down crown featuring Damasko’s patented crown system and lubricant cell.

While standard mechanical watches are only required to resist magnetic fields up to 4,800 A/m, Damasko timepieces surpass this by a significant margin, offering protection up to 80,000 A/m. The patented EPS spiral, crafted from polycrystalline silicone, addresses key limitations of traditional steel hairsprings – including material asymmetry, sensitivity to environmental forces, and degradation over time.
