Drawing inspiration from the legendary Lemania 5100, the DC87 features a centre-mounted 60-minute counter for optimal legibility, eliminating the traditional 30-minute limitation. With a patented springing hand and full-dial visibility, elapsed times are read faster and more intuitively. The clear Trikompax layout is paired with a matte dial featuring bold black 3D luminescent appliqués and baton hands filled with Superluminova X1 GL C1, including a red chronograph second hand for visual contrast and precision timing.
The case is constructed from Damasko’s patented ice-hardened nickel-free stainless steel, tempered to an extraordinary 64 HRC for superior scratch and impact resistance. The entire housing, including crown and pushers, is protected by the abrasion-proof black DAMEST coating. A bidirectional rotating bezel with lasered markings and luminous bilight at 12 o’clock enhances functionality. The bezel insert is treated in-house for added durability and colour stability.
Inside, the movement is regulated in TOP performance grade, hand-adjusted in five positions for maximum accuracy. Its 50-hour power reserve ensures lasting performance, while anti-magnetic shielding up to 80,000 A/m and shock protection to DIN standards guarantee reliable operation under all conditions. The double-domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating offers excellent visibility.
