Damasko DC70 – White
The DC70 continues the success story of DAMASKO chronographs featuring a central stop-minute display. This chronograph is powered by the patented C51-1 movement, developed and hand-assembled by DAMASKO with outstanding precision. Once fully wound, it delivers a power reserve of up to 50 hours. The clean dial layout ensures excellent, fast readability, making this model a reliable companion in both everyday life and sports settings.
The DC7X series represents a superior chronograph line based on Damasko’s C51 calibre. A central goal in its development was to significantly improve chronograph readability, inspired by the historic Lemania 5100 movement. The key innovation is the springing 60-minute counter hand from the centre, offering improved clarity and usability by displaying the full minute range across the entire dial diameter.
The DC7X’s case is constructed from Damasko’s proprietary austenitic instrument steel. This homogeneous stainless steel, with a stable microstructure and high purity, is surface hardened and used across the entire case, crown, bezel, and pushers. The 27-jewel in-house movement is shockproof to DIN 8308 and anti-magnetic to DIN 8309, with regulation in five positions for maximum precision.
The watch features curved lugs for comfort, a screw-down crown and case back, and a scratch-resistant double-domed sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective treatment for exceptional visibility. The white aviator-style dial features Luminova C1 X1 coated markers and hands, with a trapezoid-shaped marker at 12 o’clock and a bold orange central chronograph hand.
The hardened and triple-sealed crown and pushers are part of the patented DAMASKO crown/pusher system and include a disengaging setting stem when screwed in. The system also includes a long-lasting lubricant cell. Viton gaskets provide chemical resistance beyond standard materials.
Each DC70 is equipped with an integrated anti-magnetic cage, protecting the movement to 80,000 A/m (100 mT). The model includes a comfortable leather strap with contrast stitching and a signed, bead-blasted buckle.
