The case is constructed from Damasko’s proprietary ice-hardened nickel-free stainless steel, hardened to an impressive 64 HRC / 800 Vickers, offering four times the scratch resistance of standard steel. This unique material is used throughout the case, bezel, pushers, and crown, ensuring long-term durability. The hardened bezel is rotatable in both directions, featuring a ceramic ball bearing system for precision alignment and is treated with the patented DAMEST coating for added scratch protection. A 12-hour dual-time bezel is fitted as standard, with an optional 60-minute version available.
The anti-magnetic construction includes a protective cage that shields the movement from fields up to 80,000 A/m. Additional durability features include a screwed case back, triple-sealed screw-down crown, and Viton gaskets for superior chemical resistance. A domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating provides excellent visibility across all lighting conditions.
