The Damasko DC86-2 Black – White embodies precision engineering and rugged reliability. Based on the in-house calibre C51, this chronograph features a unique centre-mounted 60-minute counter for enhanced readability and usability. Inspired by the iconic Lemania 5100, the DC8X series is developed with professionals in mind, where functionality, legibility, and durability take centre stage. Its patented springing 60-minute totaliser allows a full sweep across the dial, doubling the visibility found in conventional 30-minute chronographs.
The DC86-2 stands out with its clean Trikompax dial layout, minimal index rings, and subtle model script beneath the Damasko logo. Certified to NATO military standard MIL-810, this model is ready for demanding environments while still offering understated visual appeal. The hardened black bezel, laser-etched and filled in-house with abrasion-resistant white multi-component paint, ensures reliable use in all conditions. A luminous bilight at 12 o’clock is filled with red Luminova for visibility in low-light settings.
The case is crafted from Damasko’s patented ice-hardened nickel-free stainless steel, tempered to 64 HRC for unmatched hardness and wear resistance. The full case, bezel, crown, and pushers are treated with the DAMEST coating for added abrasion protection. Inside, the 27-jewel C51-6 movement delivers 50 hours of power reserve and is regulated in-house for top-tier precision. It includes a small seconds subdial, 12-hour counter, and 24-hour indicator, with a colour-matched date display at 4:30.
Additional features include anti-magnetic protection to 80,000 A/m, a screw-down crown and pushers with triple sealing, and Viton gaskets for enhanced chemical resistance. The domed sapphire crystal is coated internally for improved legibility.
