Inspired by the iconic Lemania 5100, the DC8X series pushes functionality further by placing all essential chronograph measurements in the centre, allowing for effortless and accurate time reading. The use of Damasko’s patented ice-hardened stainless steel ensures superior resistance to scratches, impacts, and corrosion.
Built for high performance, the DC80 – Orange is water resistant to 10 bar, features a bidirectional rotating bezel with a lasered and paint-filled scale, and is secured by a screw-down crown with triple-seal protection. The patented EPS spiral, crafted from polycrystalline silicone, addresses key limitations of traditional steel hairsprings – including material asymmetry, sensitivity to environmental forces, and degradation over time. Silicone’s inherent properties make the EPS spiral non-magnetic, highly elastic, and significantly lighter, reducing centrifugal effects during impact and maintaining stable oscillation even in extreme conditions.
