The Damasko DC80-2 Black – Orange is a tactical chronograph built with precision, resilience, and bold design at its core. Developed around the in-house Damasko C51-1 movement, this timepiece features a patented central 60-minute counter for enhanced readability – inspired by the legendary Lemania 5100. This central configuration allows for rapid time tracking across a full dial circumference, making it ideal for those who value accuracy at a glance.
Crafted from Damasko’s proprietary ice-hardened nickel-free stainless steel and treated with a black DAMEST coating, the case boasts exceptional durability and scratch resistance. Every exposed steel surface – from bezel to crown and pushers – is engineered to military specifications (Mil.810), offering corrosion resistance, shockproofing, and magnetic protection up to 80,000 A/m.
The 42mm case houses a matte black dial with luminous markers and white indexes, contrasted with orange accents for legibility and style. Superluminova X1 GL C1 ensures readability in low light. A sealed luminous bi-light at 12 o’clock and a discreet date window at 4:30 provide useful function without disrupting the clean layout. The bi-directional bezel features a laser-engraved 60-minute countdown scale for mission timing.
With a 50-hour power reserve, Viton seals for chemical resistance, triple-sealed screw-down crown and pushers, and a flat sapphire crystal with internal AR coating, the DC80-2 Black – Orange is engineered to perform in the harshest environments.
