Damasko DC70-2 – Orange
The DC70-2 continues the success story of DAMASKO chronographs featuring a central stop-minute display. This model is equipped with the patented, hand-built C51-1 movement, offering excellent performance and a reliable 50-hour power reserve. The clean and legible dial is engineered for clarity, making it a versatile companion for both everyday use and sporting environments.
Part of the DC7X series, the DC70-2 draws inspiration from the Lemania 5100 with a key design innovation – a springing 60-minute central counter for enhanced readability. Unlike conventional chronographs with a 30-minute register, this design displays timing information across the full dial, making it quicker and easier to read elapsed time.
The dial on the DC70-2 is deliberately clean and technical, offering a refined look while retaining high-performance attributes. This watch is also certified to NATO military standard MIL-STD-810, built to withstand extreme conditions while maintaining peak accuracy.
The hardened, bead-blasted case is crafted from Damasko’s proprietary austenitic instrument steel, known for its purity and long-lasting durability. It houses the in-house C51 movement, regulated in five positions for high precision, and rated shockproof (DIN 8308) and anti-magnetic (DIN 8309).
For maximum protection, the screw-down crown and pushers are triple-sealed and feature DAMASKO’s disengaging stem system and patented lubrication cell. The case also features Viton gaskets for enhanced chemical resistance. The double-domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating ensures visibility in any condition.
The matte aviator-style dial includes Superluminova C1 X1 on markers and hands, a trapezoid marker at 12 o’clock, and a bold highlight seconds hand in orange. This model also features an integrated anti-magnetic cage providing resistance up to 80,000 A/m (100 mT).
A high-quality black leather strap with contrast stitching and bead-blasted buckle completes the package.
