Damasko DK47
The Damasko DK47 stands at the intersection of precision engineering and high-performance materials, resulting in a robust, legible, and technically advanced timepiece. Engineered and hand-assembled in Germany, the DK47 houses the Damasko A26-3 in-house movement, featuring a silicone escape wheel, a 42-hour power reserve, and bidirectional pawl winding for increased reliability. The calibre is adjusted in six positions and includes bilingual day and date complications offset at 3 o’clock.
This model’s strength lies in its innovative construction. The entire case, crown, and bezel are crafted from Damasko’s patented, nickel-free ice-hardened stainless steel. This material boasts four times the hardness of conventional steels, offering outstanding resistance to wear and corrosion. Every stainless component is treated with DAMEST coating for added surface durability, and the watch incorporates a solid anti-magnetic cage offering protection up to 80,000 A/m (100 mT).
The bidirectional rotating bezel is built with hardened steel and ceramic ball raster elements for ultra-precise engagement. The white-on-black laser-engraved bezel insert features a luminous bilight at 12 o’clock, giving the piece a distinct and functional character. The matte dial is fully coated in long-lasting Luminova C1 luminous paint, with bold black hands and indices that maintain excellent legibility in all lighting conditions.
Designed with ergonomics in mind, the DK47 features curved lugs for comfortable wrist fit and drilled-through lug holes for easy strap changes. A flat sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating ensures excellent dial clarity, while the triple-sealed, screw-down crown with DAMASKO’s lubricant cell technology provides maximum protection from moisture, pressure, and vibration.
