The Damasko DK30 embodies the essence of a robust, everyday timepiece with a refined, minimalist aesthetic. Its 39 mm case is machined from Damasko’s patented German submarine steel, bead-blasted and surface-hardened for exceptional scratch resistance, non-magnetic properties, and durability under extreme conditions.
The design is rooted in Damasko’s instrument and pilot watch heritage, emphasising clear readability through bold white indices and crosshair dial markers against a matte black background. The sword-shaped hands and hour markers are filled with Luminova C1 Grade X1 for optimal legibility in low light. A flat sapphire crystal, anti-reflective on both sides, protects the dial and adds to the watch’s everyday practicality.
The watch is powered by Damasko’s in-house A26-1 movement, visible through a sapphire crystal case back. This German-made calibre features a 42-hour power reserve, bidirectional pawl winding via ceramic ball bearings, and adjustment in six positions for reliable precision. The movement includes advanced enhancements such as a tungsten mass rotor and hardened steel hand-winding components, which replace typical brass elements found in many standard movements.

The patented EPS spiral, crafted from polycrystalline silicone, addresses key limitations of traditional steel hairsprings – including material asymmetry, sensitivity to environmental forces, and degradation over time. Silicone’s inherent properties make the EPS spiral non-magnetic, highly elastic, and significantly lighter, reducing centrifugal effects during impact and maintaining stable oscillation even in extreme conditions.
Unlike traditional spirals, which are mounted through thermal or mechanical deformation, the EPS is clipped into patented spring-loaded studs that allow ultra-fine positional adjustments without stressing the material.
