Every Damasko watch without a glass case back features an integrated magnetic shielding cage made from ice-hardened stainless steel. While standard mechanical watches are only required to resist magnetic fields up to 4,800 A/m, Damasko timepieces surpass this by a significant margin, offering protection up to 80,000 A/m. The patented EPS spiral, crafted from polycrystalline silicone, addresses key limitations of traditional steel hairsprings – including material asymmetry, sensitivity to environmental forces, and degradation over time.
