Damasko DF10 – Old Radium
The Damasko DF10 Black White is a minimalist and restrained mechanical watch with a strong focus on legibility, proportion, and refined detail. Its design draws inspiration from historical military watches, using a classic dial layout with clear numerals, easy-to-read scales, and a purposeful arrangement that prioritises function.
The black and white dial gives the DF10 a clean, highly readable aesthetic while still offering several fine details for closer inspection. Appliqués filled with highly luminous material help define the key timekeeping points, while the triangular minute markers add precision and structure to the dial. These elements are mounted on a separate contrast ring, making the minutes and seconds particularly easy to read.
This practical dial design gives the DF10 Black White a strong instrument-watch character. The applied silver scale ring from 5 to 60 adds depth and contrast, while the polished silver hour, minute, and seconds hands provide a refined finish. The hour and minute hands, along with the tip of the seconds hand, are coated with highly luminous material for excellent visibility in dim conditions and at night.
Inside the watch is Damasko’s in-house calibre A26-1 in TOP grade fit out. This movement features Damasko’s specially developed silicon escape wheel, designed to reduce friction and wear. With a 42-hour power reserve and a focused three-hand display, the movement supports the watch’s clean and functional approach.
The 39mm case is made from German submarine steel and is surface-hardened and bead-blasted for a durable matte finish. Damasko also hardens the case back, crown, and pushers, reinforcing the brand’s reputation for robust case engineering. The screwed-down caseback and bezel add further strength, while the push-in crown keeps the overall design compact and practical.
With an overall height of 9.95mm, a lug-to-lug length of 48mm, and a case weight of 56g without strap, the DF10 Black White is designed to wear comfortably across a wide range of wrists.
