Its sculptural movement architecture is enveloped by a rich 18K rose gold case, which frames a brown guilloché mainplate and rose gold-coloured bridges. Floating above this carefully layered construction is an off-centre sapphire dial that subtly reveals the intricate mechanics beneath. A matte brown nubuck leather strap with beige stitching completes the look, grounding the watch in refined elegance.
At the core of this piece is Armin Strom’s Caliber ASB19 – the world’s first automatic movement equipped with a stop-work declutch mechanism and Geneva cross within the barrel. This innovation delivers constant force to the regulating organ, ensuring consistent chronometric performance throughout the 72-hour power reserve. The movement’s micro-rotor enables efficient winding while maintaining visual symmetry and leaving the movement architecture unobstructed.
As with all Armin Strom timepieces, finishing is not an afterthought but an integral part of the watch’s identity. The three bridges are hand-bevelled and straight-grained, while the mainplate features a “grain d’orge” guilloché pattern executed by Kari Voutilainen using a traditional rose engine.
