Description
Sinn 903 Ti II Anniversary
For 65 years, Sinn Spezialuhren has stood for technical excellence, functional resilience and the continual refinement of proven concepts. The Sinn 903 Ti II Anniversary marks this milestone with a limited edition of just 500 pieces, reinterpreting one of the brand’s most recognisable navigation chronographs. Its design consciously references the historic 903 model created for Sinn’s 35th anniversary, while integrating significant advancements in materials and engineering.
The case is crafted from high-strength Grade 5 titanium, finished with a refined combination of polished and satinised surfaces. Lightweight yet exceptionally robust, the titanium construction reduces overall weight to just 70 grammes without a strap, while maintaining impressive structural integrity. The result is a chronograph that feels purposeful on the wrist, balancing strength and wearability in equal measure.
A defining technical highlight is Sinn’s DSP Technology, which enables the directly operable rotating bezel with an inner logarithmic scale to function reliably while maintaining water resistance to 20 bar. This dynamic sealing system represents a significant engineering achievement. Achieving such pressure resistance in a slide rule chronograph underlines the depth of Sinn’s case construction expertise and its long-standing focus on professional-grade functionality.
The dark blue electroplated dial, finished with a subtle sunburst decoration, provides a refined yet purposeful backdrop for the complex slide rule scale. The tricompax layout features galvanically rhodium-plated sub-dials, reinforcing the classic aviation chronograph aesthetic. The applied SINN logo integrates seamlessly into the overall composition, reinforcing the model’s high-quality execution.
Legibility remains paramount. The numeral 12, indices, and hands utilise hybrid ceramic luminous elements that integrate luminous pigments directly into the ceramic moulded components. This construction allows for an exceptionally high concentration of luminous material, delivering outstanding brightness and clarity in low-light conditions. Each element is meticulously attached by hand, reflecting the precision behind every detail.
Powering the 903 Ti II Anniversary is the LJP L112 automatic column wheel chronograph movement. Operating at 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour with a power reserve of at least 60 hours, it combines mechanical refinement with proven reliability. Anti-magnetic protection in accordance with DIN 8309 standards further reinforces its durability, ensuring the watch performs consistently in demanding environments.
