The Damasko DK45 Black is a highly technical German-made watch that brings together Damasko’s manufacture movement expertise, extreme case hardening, and a bold full-lume dial concept. Built as part of the DK4X series, it presents a strong, modern interpretation of the mechanical tool watch, with every detail shaped around durability, legibility, and functional reliability.
Inside the DK45 Black is the Damasko in-house calibre A26-3, an automatic movement fitted with a silicon escape wheel and a 42-hour power reserve. The movement features bidirectional pawl winding, a Damasko rotor mounted on two ceramic ball bearings, and adjustment in six positions. Available in Elaboré or TOP execution, it reflects Damasko’s commitment to technically advanced, independent German watchmaking.
The watch displays the hours, minutes, central seconds, date, and weekday, with the day and date positioned at 3 o’clock. The weekday indication is bilingual in German and English, adding a practical touch while maintaining the clean, instrument-style dial layout. This is a watch designed to be used, read quickly, and relied upon in changing daily conditions.
The dial is one of the standout features of the DK45 Black. Its entire surface is coated with special luminescent paint in Luminova C1 white, allowing the dial itself to glow in low light.
