The UX is water proof to all depths! The watch itself is made from special U-boat steel and is full with features and special Sinn technologies including anti reflection, Sinn’s special oil filling, steel tegimentation and temperature resistance from -20 to +60 degrees C. It has been developed for serious sports people and professional divers who require reliable, state-of-the-art instruments at their side.

In conjunction with its instrument chronographs and watches, Sinn is renowned for its sports and diving watches. This is the watch of the German Special forces. It is functionality reduced to the minimum. It is designed so that the wearer can read the time in a fraction of a second. The important elements are immediately readable ie the minute hand, hour hand and markers. All other elements on the dial are in matt red to visually down play their appearance and not detract from the main aspects of the dial. The inside of the pearl polished, sandblasted case is filled with pure oil. Another important feature is the fact that the screw-in crown has been moved to the left side of the case to 9 o’clock, ensuring optimal freedom of wrist movement, especially when a wet suit is being worn. The best testimonial for this watch is the fact that it is the preferred watch of the maritime unit of the GSG 9 whose divers, and their equipment, undergo the toughest professional demands. The sturdy, solid stainless steel case is complimented by an indestructible and fully adjustable stainless steel band.
