The Hanhart 415 ES Pure stays true to the iconic design of the original 415 ES, combining timeless aesthetics with modern technology. With a minimalist colour scheme, the 415 ES Pure represents a subtle evolution: the yellow elements on the dial have been replaced with white, the bronze-coloured hands with white lacquered hands, and the Super-Luminova X2 coating now shines in a crisp white. These refinements give the timepiece an especially elegant and clean look without losing its beloved vintage charm.
Based on the 415 ES originally introduced in the 1960s, the model features a distinctive bidirectional rotating bezel with a 60 minute scale and the historic winged logo. Hanhart embraces this legacy by combining classic design with the highest manufacturing standards of today. The new colour scheme accentuates the watch’s classic elegance and further enhances its clean design. The 415 ES Pure sports a deep black dial with subdials at 3 and 9 o’clock. A tachymeter scale on the outer edge enables precise measurement of speeds over set distances, while the red hundred scale remains a distinctive hallmark that emphasizes the sporty character of the chronograph. Switching to white indices and hands, combined with the bright white X2 Super Luminova coating, ensures exceptional readability. The dial proudly bears Hanhart’s traditional winged logo—a symbol of the brand’s modernisation in the 1960s. After more than 40 years, this striking emblem returns with the 415 ES series, bridging the past and present.
Each movement is tested and adjusted by highly trained watchmakers at the Hanhart manufactory in Gütenbach. The rate accuracy is specified at 0 to +8 seconds per day on average over six positions (a deviation of ±4 seconds), with a maximum delta of 10 seconds permitted between positions. This commitment reflects the German virtue of punctuality. As a pioneer in wrist chronographs and stopwatches, Hanhart has played an outstanding role in the history of the German watch industry. Since 1882, the manufacturer has produced timepieces that combine perfection with unmistakable design, guided by principles of precision, reliability, readability, and robust operation.
