The Damasko DC86-2 – Orange is part of the DC8X series, a chronograph line built around the DAMASKO C51 movement. Inspired by the legendary Lemania 5100, this modern chronograph introduces an innovative central springing 60-minute counter. This design allows stop times to be recorded with greater clarity and accuracy, thanks to a dial layout that spans the full diameter of the face.
Built for resilience and performance, the DC86-2 is equipped with an in-house C51-6 movement, adjusted to TOP performance, and delivers a power reserve of 50 hours. The clean and instrumental Trikompax dial, free of an index ring and enhanced by minimalist sub-dial design, ensures optimal legibility in all conditions. Certified to NATO’s Mil.810 military standard, this watch is ready for demanding use.
The watch features a robust case made of Damasko’s patented ice-hardened nickel-free stainless steel, tempered up to 64 HRC. The bidirectional rotating bezel is hardened, abrasion-resistant, and fitted with a DAMEST-coated black insert, precisely positioned using ceramic ball bearings. Its dial, with Superluminova X1 GL C1-coated markers and hands, remains legible under low light, while the offset date display at 4:30 is subtly colour-matched for seamless visibility.
A double-domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating ensures durability and excellent readability. Triple-sealed, screw-down crown and pushers add to the overall water resistance of 10 bar.
