Armin Strom’s Orbit collection presents the world’s first on-demand, pointer-date on a bezel. By rethinking traditional complications in an innovative and fresh way, Armin Strom has created a whole new horological experience. Most watches display the date function in a dedicated window – ever present on the face of the watch. The Orbit collection provides a unique alternative that only displays the date around the bezel when you want it by the press of a pusher that activates an ‘on demand’ pointer hand which snaps into position on call.
The restrained date function on the Orbit Purple contrasts perfectly against the bold, contemporary dial aesthetic. The striking purple fumé finish fades gently from a vivid purple centre to darker edges, drawing the eye in. The purple date pointer and the date on the ceramic bezel match the dial’s colour palette, creating a seamless design and harmonious visual. The entire complication and dial is encased in a sophisticated black, DLC-coated case offset with a modern black textile strap to complete the look with high-contrast impact and individuality.
