The Tutima Patria Rose Gold Limited Edition Anthracite presents a more contemporary interpretation of the Patria, pairing the warmth of solid 18-karat rose gold with a matte anthracite dial and a dark, architecturally finished manufacture movement. Limited to just 9 pieces, this special edition brings a striking modern character to one of Tutima Glashütte’s most refined hand-wound watches.
The Patria has always stood within the tradition of fine Glashütte watchmaking, where mechanical excellence is often expressed with restraint rather than spectacle. In this limited edition, that restraint remains, yet the watch takes on a stronger visual tension through the contrast of anthracite and rose gold. The result is dignified, rare, and quietly powerful on the wrist.
The 43 mm case is crafted from 18-karat rose gold and shaped with a curved crown guard, domed sapphire crystal, and sapphire crystal caseback. Its precious-metal warmth is balanced by the matte anthracite dial, applied indices, historic Tutima seal, and 18-karat gold hands. Each hand is refined and polished by hand in the atelier, then finished with diamond-cut bevels, creating a precise but elegant interplay with the darker dial surface.
This edition is powered by the new manufacture calibre Tutima 626, a manually wound movement with at least 65 hours of power reserve. Rather than using the traditional Glashütte three-quarter plate, Tutima has introduced a newly designed half plate with broad horizontal stripes, giving the caseback a far more open and expressive character. The movement reveals its elaborate gear train finishing, skeletonised bridgework, gold chatons, and hand-finished detailing with unusual clarity.
The calibre Tutima 626 is a movement made for close attention. The balance cock is open-worked to provide a clear view of the free-sprung oscillation system with hand-bent Breguet overcoil, while the skeletonised double cock places the seconds and escape wheels on display. The minute, third, and seconds wheels are finished with recessed mirror-polished areas and bevelled spokes, while polished screw heads, hand-bevelled edges, and screwed gold chatons reflect the calibre’s artisanal execution.
Where the Silver edition leans into classical warmth, the Anthracite edition has a more modern and dramatic personality. Its anthracite dial, matching leather strap, rose gold case, and dark grey movement surfaces create a cohesive visual language from front to back.
