“Power” as in power reserve, ‘Dive’ as in diving: the name of the name says it all. The Sportivo Power Dive brings not only functionality to the wrist, but also plenty of style. The attractive dial with a power reserve indicator and the unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel emphasize the sporty character of the contemporary Sportivo line, inspired by the colours of the sea and beach and developed to perform.
Equipped with all the functional features that define a diver’s watch, it makes a big impression. The unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel, with continuous minute markings and 60-degree increments, forms the watch’s striking frame. To make it easier to determine remaining dive time or precisely time decompression stops while scuba diving, the markers are coated with luminescent material. The luminescent triangle at the 0 mark indicates the start of a time period, while the minute hand measures its duration. To prevent the remaining dive time from being displayed as too long in the event of accidental rotation of the bezel, the bezel can only be rotated counterclockwise.
The minute hand plays the most important role in timekeeping of this kind. To clearly distinguish it from the hour hand, it features a distinctive arrowhead tip. Both hands and the applied hour markers are generously coated with luminescent material, ensuring that the time can be read effortlessly even underwater or in the dark.
The luminous dot on the second hand lets you see at a glance that the Sportivo Power Dive performs perfectly while diving. The power reserve indicator at 6 o’clock also clearly shows whether the watch still has enough power for the next dive. The power reserve when fully wound is 41 hours.
The Sportivo Power Dive’s cool look is defined by a dial featuring a dynamic color gradient ranging from black through teal to turquoise blue. It is framed by a case—partly polished, partly brushed—with a diameter of 42.5 millimeters. Thanks to the 2.2-millimeter-thick, double-anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a screw-down crown, it is water-resistant to 30 bar.
The SW270-1 movement, Mühle version, ensures the highest level of timekeeping accuracy. Its exceptionally shock-resistant and finely adjustable woodpecker-neck regulation guarantees consistently precise timekeeping. After careful finishing and assembly of the movement components, the movement is tested in six positions and regulated to a rate between 0 and +8 seconds per day. The regulation specification is based on the chronometer standard and also follows a simple yet important principle: no wearer should be late because of their Mühle watch.
Another highlight is the special rotor of the automatic movement. It is reserved exclusively for the new models of 2026, which are also being manufactured this year. This is in celebration of “Three Decades of Wristwatches.” Nautische Instrumente Mühle-Glashütte began manufacturing wristwatches in 1996, two years after the company’s founding with marine chronometers and ship’s clocks.
