Mühle’s 100-piece Limited Edition GLP Rally Chronograph was developed in collaboration with the classic car enthusiasts behind the Rallye Elbflorenz. Designed to support starter teams in precision and regularity tests (GLP), this watch exemplifies Mühle-Glashütte’s dedication to performance and tradition.
As Thilo Mühle, CEO of Mühle-Glashütte, explains:
“We have been supporting the Elbflorenz Rally for many years. This is not only due to our enthusiasm for the historically valuable vehicles, but also to the tradition of our family business. As R. Mühle & Sohn, we have been manufacturing speedometers, rev counters, and car clocks since around 1920.”
The GLP Rally Chronograph boasts a precision of one-eighth of a second, powered by the Mühle chronograph movement MU 9413. This movement is equipped with enhancements like the Mühle rotor, a Glashütte three-quarter plate, Glashütte stopwork, and the shock-resistant woodpecker neck regulation, ensuring impeccable performance.
Robust Build and Unique Features
Encased in solid stainless steel with a 45mm diameter, this watch is built for durability. The screw-down crown and 2.5mm thick sapphire crystal enhance its robustness and pressure resistance. The watch is completed with a racing-inspired strap featuring green contrast stitching, perforations, and a folding clasp with fine adjustment.

- High Contrast Dial: The matte black dial features bright green highlights on the chronograph functions for easy readability, even during high-speed rally stages.
- Countdown Bezel: A bidirectional rotating bezel with a countdown scale makes it simple to track remaining time in special stages. The bezel is operable with gloves and features green markings for the last 10 seconds in one-second increments.
- Ergonomic Pushers: The large, green start/stop pusher at 2 o’clock is easy to operate during intense rally phases, while the reset pusher at 4 o’clock is slightly smaller for clarity.
