Mühle-Glashütte 29er Big Small Second Edition 1994

A small second with a big impact: the 29er Big Small Second Edition 1994
From the anniversary rotor in the 29er Big BRONZE Edition 1994 to the blue rubber bezel of the S.A.R. Rescue-Timer Edition 1994, every Edition 1994 model features a number of impressively unique and lovingly designed details. The stand-out feature of the 29er Big Small Second Edition 1994 timepieces is the off centre second display, an aesthetic highlight never seen before in the 29er watch family. This 29er model adds a modern twist to the traditional appearance of the second display and features slim Arabic numerals which stand out against a sub dial in a lighter blue.
With not one, but three different shades of blue, the Small Second is the first member of the 29er family to boast a three-tone dial. Its combination of an anthracite-coloured background, the light-blue totaliser for the small second and the eye-catching bright blue flange represents colour harmony and nautical flair. This colour spectrum with a perfect mix of subtle and striking contrasts gives the 29er Big Small Second Edition 1994 a particularly dynamic appearance. The bright blue of the flange has established itself as the high contrast colour of the anniversary collection and is complemented by matching number 30 of the date display and second scale and on the hand of the small second.
The blue theme continues with a darker shade in the canvas strap, which is fastened with Mühle’s pin buckle. This sturdy yet comfortable strap provides perfect support for the 42.4-millimetre large stainless steel case, which has been one of the most stunning outfits in the wardrobe of Mühle movements ever since it was introduced in 2006. The attractive case uses a variety of different surface finishes to create a stunning array of light reflections like the sun sparkling in the waves, with the bezel alone featuring both a brushed top surface and finely polished sides. In contrast, the sides of the case have a vertical finish and are stunningly framed by the bezel and the screwed-on back, the sides of which are also perfectly polished. The case not only looks the part but also offers a pressure resistance of up to 10 bars (100m) to reliably protect the SW 261-1 Mühle version automatic movement against the elements.
The movement comes equipped with the special Mühle Edition rotor and the company’s shockproof woodpecker neck regulation. These impressive components allow the movement to be regulated in six different positions and set to ensure accuracy values of between 0 and a maximum of +8 seconds per day. This precision target forms the heart of Mühle’s own regulation standards, which comply with high German chronometer standards, and help ensure precision.
A stunning and functional addition to any watch lovers’ wardrobe – we know you’ll love this limited edition.
