MeisterSinger Stratoscope – Black Gold (ST982G)
The jet black dial of the Stratoscope merges into a sunburst effect in the lower third, iridescent in every shade of blue and reminiscent of the aurora borealis of the far north. The double-digit numerals from 01 to 12 are arranged in a circle around the dial. The cutout section for the moon phase display is located in the upper half of the dial, where the photorealistic, almost three-dimensional golden moon orbits around the earth. The moon, the hour markers, the hour numerals, and the needle-shaped hand glow strongly in the dark. The date is displayed at the 6 o’clock position.
The stainless steel case is 43 mm in diameter, water-resistant up to 5 bar, and fitted with a domed sapphire glass over the dial. The movement can be easily viewed through the sixfold screwed glass exhibition back as it performs its high-precision task.
The MS Luna automatic movement ticks inside the Stratoscope and is fitted with the moon phase module developed by MeisterSinger. The movement is based on the Swiss Sellita SW220, which is specially modified for MeisterSinger’s single-hand watches. The Stratoscope’s moon phase display is exceptionally precise and only needs a slight adjustment every 122 years. The date display can be conveniently set via its quick-switch function. The rotor provides the watch with a power reserve of 38 hours.
With the Stratoscope, MeisterSinger is presenting its second watch to feature a large, central moon phase display. Similar to the Lunascope, the Stratoscope also has a surprise in store with its extremely precise and unusually large moon phase display that features a photorealistic, almost three-dimensional moon. The iridescent dial and the luminous materials used make the watch an eye-catcher by day and by night. The leather straps come with a high-quality doublefolding clasp.
