The MeisterSinger Panthero Jumping Hour – Sunburst Golden Yellow presents the brand’s new flagship complication in one of its most expressive forms. Reference PTJH935 combines a warm golden-yellow dial with dark metallic display elements, creating a striking contrast around the Panthero’s unconventional jumping-hour architecture.
Its sunburst finish has been designed specifically around the layout of the watch. Rather than radiating from the geometric centre of the dial, the brushing begins precisely where the elevated minute hand originates. From this off-centre point, the sunburst spreads outward to the perimeter, allowing reflections to follow the same visual logic as the time display itself. The result is a dial that changes dramatically with light while reinforcing the Panthero’s distinctive asymmetry.
Against the warm golden surface, the display elements are rendered in a metallic dark grey tone inspired by tantalum. The contrast gives the watch a more technical and contemporary character, tempering the richness of the golden colour with a darker, almost industrial edge. It is an unusual combination that allows the dial to feel warm without becoming traditional or overly decorative.
Surrounding the dial is MeisterSinger’s newly developed 40.5 mm stainless steel Panthero case. An exceptionally narrow bezel allows the dial to dominate the view from the front, creating an almost frameless appearance beneath the domed sapphire crystal. Along the flanks, polished and brushed surfaces introduce greater visual complexity, while the exclusive spiral-shaped crown provides another defining element unique to the Panthero design.
Inside is the specially developed MeisterSinger MS-JH-01 automatic calibre, based on the Sellita SW300 and equipped with a sophisticated jumping-hour module. The movement can be viewed through the exhibition caseback, where a custom rotor inspired by three interlocking fermatas adds a characteristically MeisterSinger detail. Anthracite accents around the logo and central rotor bearing complement the movement’s contemporary presentation, while the calibre provides approximately 47 hours of power reserve.
The Panthero Jumping Hour has been conceived as far more than a new complication within an existing collection. Its case, dial architecture, movement and display have been developed as a cohesive new design language for MeisterSinger. In the Sunburst Golden Yellow PTJH935, that concept becomes particularly bold, pairing the calm rhythm of MeisterSinger timekeeping with a dial whose colour and changing reflections make it difficult to ignore.
