In 1349 Freidrich III and his brothers took over the lands of Thuringa and Meissen from their father. During his regency, Freidrich III consolidated the inner structure of the country and increased the reach and wealth of Wettin (later Saxony) by developing public administration and internal policy. His dedication and drive resulted in a stronger, better region ready for future growth.
The Friedrich III collection aims to replicate the straightforward thinking of this ruler with its simple, discreet and highly functional attributes. The minimalistic dial featuring Roman Numerals and a small second display symbolises an appreciation for simplicity without sacrificing detail or functionality.
The slightly convex, sapphire case back provides a view of the in-house calibre VI equipped with an architectural masterpiece that is unmistakably Lang & Heyne – a trigonal bridge for a stable rate.
This collection features three case materials: massive 18ct rose gold, stainless steel, and platinum. Further distinction is made by the dial colour which can be either solid silver/bright frosted or galvanic black.
