Hanhart 415 ES Panda
With the new 415 ES Panda, Hanhart revives the spirit of the 1960s, merging the design of the historic 415 ES with modern technology. The Panda version features a classic white dial with black totalisers, while the Reverse Panda offers a black dial with white totalisers, delivering strong visual contrast. Both models showcase a timeless and striking design rooted in authentic racing chronograph heritage.
The distinctive panda dial of the 415 ES Panda is a design icon, with black totalisers at 3 and 9 o’clock on a white background, echoing the face of a panda bear. First introduced in the 1960s, this high-contrast design was quickly favoured by racing drivers for its readability and style. Hanhart continues this tradition with the 415 ES Panda, enhancing legibility with Super-LumiNova® C1 GL X2 coating for numerals and hands, and including the classic Hanhart wing logo.
Hanhart’s wing logo, a hallmark of the brand’s 1960s modernisation, returns with the 415 ES series, symbolising the link between past and present. The robust satin-polished stainless-steel case offers anti-magnetic properties and houses a shock-protected – High Grade Swiss movement movement. Hanhart’s proprietary damping system ensures accuracy even under extreme conditions.
The case is complemented by either a high-quality calfskin strap in black, dark brown, or light brown with a stainless-steel pin buckle, or a newly introduced steel bracelet. The steel bracelet features a folding clasp with a tool-free fine adjustment system, enabling easy resizing by up to 10 mm, ensuring a perfect fit at all times.
Each movement is regulated in-house at Hanhart’s Gütenbach manufactory to an impressive timekeeping accuracy of 0 to +8 seconds per day across six positions, without allowing negative deviation in main positions, maintaining German punctuality standards. The watch’s heritage is matched by modern technical details, including a high-domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal, 10 bar water resistance, and a screw-down case back with engraved serial number.
