The Erwin collection features Habring2’s robust and exact A11S, manual movement developed and manufactured completely in-house by Richard and Maria Habring. The movement with jumping second complication is deliberately slim, sitting at 5.7 mm which comfortably fits into its 9 mm case. This slim line design is facilitated via the thoughtful configuration of the jumping second that is much flatter in comparison to earlier hand-wound watch movements.
Because Erwin‘s heartbeat is determined by hand-mounted and adjusted escapement parts, it is built to withstand many trails associated with daily wear.
As such, the striking design of this piece centres on the balanced and technically perfect calibre which is enhanced by an understated dial and elegantly finished case.
The classic lines and design of the beautiful salmon dial are enhanced by the Roman numeral accents at every second hour position and the uniform seconds indication on the outer dial. The polished bezel adds another element of finesse to this charming piece to elegantly frame the minimalistic design. Added functionality is achieved via the lume fill on the hour and minute hands and roman numerals thus enhancing legibility in dimly lit environments.
