Description
Dornblüth & Sohn Flyback Chronograph with Power Reserve
Limited to 62 pieces
The newly developed movement, realised under the implementation of the 1997 patent, is a hand-wound chronograph with a 30-minute counter and flyback function. A special feature of the chronograph is the continuously running central seconds. The movement is standard with rhodium-plated, grained bridges and cocks, with yellow gold-plated hand engraving of the company name and the serial number.
Limited Edition
This exclusive model is limited to 62 pieces, paying tribute to the founding of the Dornblüth manufactory by Dieter Dornblüth in 1962. Sixty-two years later, this limited edition symbolises the timeless connection between tradition and innovation. Each piece embodies the craftsmanship and passion nurtured in the manufactory for decades.
A Tradition of Precision and Innovation: 25 Years of the Manufactory
The history of the Dornblüth manufactory began in 1962, when Dieter Dornblüth opened his small watch workshop. With a passionate pursuit of precision and craftsmanship, he laid the foundation for a manufactory that today is synonymous with luxurious timepieces. In 1983, his son, Dirk Dornblüth, joined the company, bringing fresh ideas and new vision. Seven years later, Dirk achieved the title of master watchmaker – a milestone in continuing his father’s legacy. In 1997, the first patent for the brand was granted, showcasing their technical prowess and innovation.
Today, Dornblüth stands for exclusive, handcrafted watches that merge tradition and progress.
Good Things Come to Those Who Wait
The idea for a chronograph has existed since 1997. After the release of the 99.2 in 2002, Dieter and Dirk Dornblüth aspired to create a chronograph combining a power reserve and flyback function. Over the years, they worked continuously to perfect this. Twenty-seven years later, many of their collected ideas have been realised in this exceptional timepiece.
