Benzinger SWR Shades of Grey

Description

Benzinger SWR Shades of Grey

The special edition SWR Shades of Grey showcases all of Jochen Benzinger’s ennobling skills and delivers a true work of horological beauty. The delicate colour play on the dial with its metallic finish, plays with light and captures the striking hand-guilloched pattern. Printed numerals and flame-blued hands provide the necessary contract to enhance legibility without cluttering or disrupting the design language.

A 42mm, polished steel case with gently rounded lugs and oversized crown complement the classic look of the dial and ensure a comfortable wear. But without a doubt, the star of this piece is the striking wave guilloched dial and gold-framed small second at 6 o’clock which most notably carries the wave in a slightly different angle to differentiate the two aspects of time.

The fully skeletonised, engraved and ennobled manual movement is based on the robust and reliable ETA 6498 and features uniquely crafted wheels, flame-blued screws, red stones and gold-plated highlights. The design is what Jochen refers to as his ‘technik’ look due to the geometric forms and clean lines which add a modern element to the timepiece.
