With its elegant SUMMER collection, Alexander Shorokhoff completes the series of seasons, which includes the popular models “Winter”, “Autumn”, and “Spring”. From the first glance, each model in the Summer collection alludes to the magic of nature imbued by the season. And magic is truly the right word, as it’s important to note the innovative manufacturing process of the dial. Both the small butterfly and the beautiful floral arrangement were crafted as detailed appliqués using intricate 3D modelling techniques. This creates a stunning depth and presence of the dial, truly unveiling the magic of each piece.
Considered touches like the glistening sunburst effect on the background of the dial frames the gloss, lacquered centre to enhance brilliance and contrast. The excitingly bold bordeaux, pink, blue and white palette is a joyous celebration of summer hues and nature’s gifts. Delicate field flowers hug the lower half of the centred time display while a sweet pink butterfly alights atop. The blued hour and minute hands perfectly complement the silver laser-cut frame of the automatic watch.
The attractive and highly unique, 36mm x 36mm case is made of stainless steel with sapphire crystal case front and exhibition case back. The middle section is brushed for additional resistance, while the bezel and the back are polished. Additionally, the back features an intricately ennobled, hand-engraved ring and rotor for the wearer’s personal enjoyment.
Inside the watch ticks an ETA automatic caliber 2000-1, featuring an etched, meticulously hand-finished and refined rotor, blued screws, 20 jewels, and a power reserve of approximately 40 hours.
The colour-matched genuine strap is designed to complement the dial without overpowering the design, to elevate the overall aesthetic of the lovely SUMMER BLUSH model. As a limited edition of only 31 pieces, it won’t be long before the magic disappears…
