For the first time, Alexander Shorokhoff introduces a chronograph with a Big Date function, offering a distinctive take on date display. The “Big Date Chrono” showcases the date with two separate, larger digits in a window positioned at 12 o’clock. Unlike traditional single-digit displays, this watch displays dates from 01 to 31, providing both enhanced readability and a stylishly bold look.
Crafted for precision, the “Big Date Chrono” integrates the renowned Swiss automatic chronograph movement, Dubois-Dépraz DD4500, known for its high reliability and exactitude. This advanced movement enables the seamless coordination required to display dual date digits.
In addition to the Big Date function, this model features a stopwatch with a bright mother-of-pearl hour subdial at 6 o’clock and a 42-hour power reserve, driven by a hand-engraved rotor from the Alexander Shorokhoff manufactory. The overall design boasts a bold and sporty flair, with two colour variants available. The first showcases an orange dial center, matching an orange calf leather strap, while the second variant includes striking yellow and green accents.
Distinctively designed subdials at 3 and 9 o’clock and sport-inspired square numerals create a dynamic, contemporary aesthetic. The distinctive hands further emphasise this watch’s avant-garde and sporty design. Limited to just 30 pieces worldwide, the “Big Date Chrono” is a collector’s item that combines practical readability with Alexander Shorokhoff’s unique aesthetic vision.
